01 ─── Aluminum Railing Collection

Aluminum Railing Systems
Post-and-Glass · Deck Railing

Powder-coated aluminum systems engineered in Guangdong for villas, new homes, apartments and batch renovations across the USA, Australia and Canada.

Aluminum is a common choice for villa decks, new home porches and apartment exteriors. Light, corrosion-resistant, available in standard powder-coat colours (black, white, bronze) or a custom RAL match. The two sub-systems share the same aluminum post extrusion but differ in infill. Glass panels for unobstructed views. Picket bars for the classic deck-railing profile. Both ship pre-cut, drilled and powder-coated to match your project elevation. We build for villa owners, new home builders, and the architects and contractors who execute their projects. Designed in our Guangdong studio and powder-coated in our owned workshop, then crated for export.

02 ─── Decision Matrix

Choosing your aluminum infill

Two sub-systems share the same powder-coated aluminum post extrusion. The choice depends on whether the view is the priority — or whether privacy and a traditional deck look matter more.

SYSTEM 01 / POST-GLASS

Aluminum Post Glass Balustrade

Aluminum posts at panel intervals with tempered glass infill between. A middle ground between full-frameless glass and traditional picket. Posts give the structure; glass keeps the view open from villa decks, apartment balconies and modern new home porches.

  • Top-mount, side-mount, deck-mount posts
  • Tempered or laminated glass infill
  • Standard finish range · custom colour match available

SYSTEM 02 / DECK RAILING

Aluminum Deck Railing

The classic vertical picket profile with powder-coated aluminum posts and pickets. The everyday choice for backyard decks, front porches and batch renovation runs — sized to local guard-opening codes, ages gracefully, finishes match popular composite-deck colours.

  • Picket spacing engineered to local guard code
  • Standard finish range · custom colour match available
  • Optional infill: cable or glass swap

04 ─── Code Compliance

Drawings cite the codes your engineer of record reviews against

Aluminum railings are life-safety components — every drawing package we issue references the relevant code family for the destination jurisdiction. Your engineer of record cross-checks against local rules before stamping.

IRC R312

U.S. Residential Guards

Guard height, picket-opening limits and live-load capacity for handrail and balusters in single-family homes — system-specific dimensions are detailed on each sub-system page.

IBC 1015

U.S. Commercial Guards

Applies to apartments, multifamily and high-rise. Guard height 42" minimum, stricter concentrated-load criteria and tighter opening limits than residential code.

AS 1170.1

Australian Live Loads

Australian standard for structural design loads — specifies handrail live-load and barrier-load requirements that aluminum post and infill must resist.

NCC Volume One

Australian Class 2–9

The Australian framework for multifamily, hotel and assembly buildings. Provides the access-and-egress framework into which AS 1170.1 plugs for balustrade design.

05 ─── Factory Process

From elevation drawing to site delivery

The four operating principles below apply to every aluminum railing run we ship — whether a two-panel villa deck or a hundred-balcony apartment project.

01

Drawing-First Coordination

Send a deck plan, balcony elevation or CAD reference. We return shop drawings before any quote is locked. Post-spacing and glass-clamp positions match your site condition.

02

Trial Assembly Before Packing

Posts, top rails and infill panels are dry-fitted in our Guangdong workshop and finish-checked before pack-out. Tolerance issues are fixed in-house, not on your jobsite.

03

Export-Ready Crating

Posts, rails, pickets, glass panels and hardware bundled in install order — powder-coated surfaces wrapped against transit abrasion, crates rated for sea-freight transit and customs inspection.

04

Code-Framework Citation

Drawings reference the relevant code families (IRC R312 / IBC 1015 / AS 1170.1 / NCC). Your engineer of record cross-checks against your jurisdiction before stamping.

06 ─── Frequently Asked

Aluminum-railing selection questions

Post-Glass or Deck Railing — which should I choose?

Post-Glass when the view is the priority (water, valley, golf course, city skyline) and a contemporary look matters. Deck Railing when privacy, child-proofing or the classic look matters — or for budget-driven projects. Pickets cost less per linear foot than glass and need no clamp hardware.

Is aluminum suitable for coastal or salt-air sites?

Aluminum is naturally corrosion-resistant and well-suited to most coastal sites when finished with marine-grade powder coat. For direct salt-spray exposure (oceanfront sites), we recommend 316 stainless steel as the upgrade — aluminum can pit under sustained chloride attack even with quality powder coat.

What finish colours do you offer?

Standard powder-coat colours are matte black, gloss black, white, bronze and dark grey. Custom RAL or composite-deck-match finishes are available with sample colour confirmation before production. Powder coat is applied after fabrication so welds and cut ends are fully sealed.

What is the typical lead time?

Schedules vary by panel count, finish complexity and destination port. Send your linear-foot estimate, target finish and destination. We return a milestone schedule — drawing review, fabrication, trial assembly, port-to-port shipping — before the order is locked.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

One villa deck run is enough — we are a custom fabricator, not a stocked retailer. For apartment or batch renovation projects with repeating identical balcony runs, we offer repeat-cut tooling. Send your run count and linear feet — we confirm whether tooling-level pricing applies and quote accordingly.

07 ─── Next Step

Send a deck plan. Receive shop drawings before any quote is locked.

CAD, SketchUp, hand sketch or a Pinterest reference of the finish you want. We work with whatever you have and confirm feasibility before the first invoice.
